The Villarais chairlift is the practical, soft mobility solution for getting to Espace Alpe d'Huez, summer and winter alike.

Whether you're a skier, hiker or mountain biker, the Villarais chairlift is the ideal way to easily reach Alpe d'Huez and enjoy all the activities on offer at Espace Alpe d'Huez.
It also makes it easy to get around on a daily basis, whether for lunch in a restaurant or shopping in Alpe d'Huez.

The chairlift takes you up to Le Signal, at an altitude of 2,100 m, where it connects with the Signal telemix to take you straight back down to Alpe d'Huez. The journey takes about 15 min.

By taking the Villarais chairlift, you avoid the sometimes tricky mountain roads, especially in winter, while enjoying a gentle, convenient, comfortable and fast mode of transport (approx. 15 minutes' journey).
