Circuit pédestre du Marais - 1h15 - Départ Les Seiglières
The Marais circuit is a wonderful and easy trail through in the woods, going around the Marais des Seiglières protected area and its pond.
The Marais circuit is ideal for nature lovers!
Come and take a walk in this protected natural area, which is vulnerable due to the plant and animal species that you can find there, and which requires appropriate and respectful behavior. This easy 2.7 km walk with a 70 m gradient lasts 1h15 minutes.
Drive past the Auberge des Seiglières and park in front of the gates leading to the Marais. Go slightly down until you reach a building, the former stables of the Marais, which houses a series of heritage signs.
After climbing a small hill, you will get to the Marais pond and near the remains of a former leper colony (La Maladrerie). Follow the path to the cabane de la Coche. Behind the hut, walk along a beautiful little path through the woods until you reach the starting point of your hike.
