Three Evenings, Three Books by Edouard Louis
Read by Benoît Olivier

- Thursday, October 1: *The End of Eddy Bellegueule* (2014), a true literary sensation, recounts Edouard Louis’s reasons for fleeing—fleeing his family, fleeing his social milieu.

- Friday, October 2: “Who Killed My Father?” (2018) recounts his reconciliation with his father and his reflections on the “political body.”

- Saturday, October 2: “Combats et métamorphoses d’une femme” (2021) recounts his reconciliation with his mother and the story of his rebellion and liberation.

“When I started writing, I did so with the idea that, deep down, the social world resides within each of us and that, through an autobiographical approach—through writing about oneself—we can tell the story of the world.” (Edouard Louis)
