The resort has turned learning to ski into its speciality: it hosts the only Ecole de Ski Française (ski school) in Vercors, has a beginners zone at the bottom of the skiing area and a useful ‘conveyor belt’ to help children get used to ski lifts. Nature lovers will also appreciate the fact that Gresse-en-Vercors, like the whole Trièves area along with its neighbour the Col de l'Arzelier resort, is seriously committed to eco-tourism.
