Boucle de la Chapelle du Rosaire
Depuis le village, vous avez sûrement aperçu au loin le haut de la chapelle dont la statue semble trôner au milieu des sapins... Mais il faut s’y rendre pour découvrir la vue imprenable qu’elle offre.
Après avoir emprunté quelques petites rues, vous vous embarquez sur un joli sentier arboré mais assez pentu. A la suite de cet effort, vous arrivez rapidement à la chapelle et découvrez la récompense : un panorama splendide sur les environs. Vous n’avez plus qu’à profiter, contempler et admirer. Lorsque vous en aurez assez, vous redescendrez plus tranquillement dans la forêt en faisant des lacets. Pour finir, vous déboucherez sur une route secondaire qui vous permettra de regagner le départ.
Route details
(1) From the esplanade du Plan de Ville, take the path towards the town hall. At the town hall, turn left out of the building onto chemin de Mouquetière. At the next junction with the road, turn right, then left at the next junction. (2) At the next large right-hand bend, continue on the small path in front of you and then take the climb to the right through the forest, where you can admire the view of the village and Chamechaude. (3) At the next junction, take the path on your left to reach the Chapelle du Rosaire. Go around the chapel to the left, then cross the meadow to the trees and descend again to the «Chapelle du Rosaire» intersection, where this time you’ll have to continue on the steeply-sloping path to the left. (4) At the next junction, continue straight ahead on the Sentier des Amoureux until you reach the road (5), where you turn right. Continue straight ahead to return to the Plan de Ville esplanade.
