Saint Pierre and Saint Paul church
Several times rebuilt over the centuries, Virieu's church preserves a 16th century porch, and a dedication in Gothic letters reminiscent of the previous building. Today, it houses contemporary furniture and a listed organ from the 19th century.
Building rebuilt around 1875, the Virieu Church is constituted of 3 naves contained under one roof, accessible by the bell tower / central porch sticking out slightly. The front gate and porch are the most ancien element of this structure. The side aisles have large identical gothic archs ; They are organised, against the long walls, in four rows in between buttresses crowned by a modillion cornice.
Inside, the nave is crowned by a barrel vault while the side aisles have a flat ceiling.
