Fountains of Vézeronce-Curtin

  • Historic site and monument

At the beginning of the century, when people still went to fetch their water, the village was served by a network of public and private fountains. Water still flows from two of them, one at Charray and the other on Place de Vézeronce, which was restored during the 1960s.

Part of the old fountain on Place de Vézeronce is still visible in the middle of the roundabout. The others are now used as plant containers (outside Bouillier, Couthon, etc.).
