Pont de Claix
The Pont de Claix, built between 1608 and 1611 at the instigation of Constable Lesdiguières, provided an easy way to cross the Drac and ensure regular communication between Grenoble and the surrounding countryside.
Still looking medieval with its humpbacked roadway, its single arch, spanning 46 meters and 16 meters high, represented a real technical feat at the time.
