L'Ultime le Collecteur
The most extraordinary foray into the Dent. Follow the galleries and shafts to reach the Guiers Mort collector, right in the heart of the mountain!
The Collecteur is undoubtedly the most aesthetically pleasing part of the Dent de Crolles network.
Around 1.5km long, the Collecteur offers a timeless journey into the heart of the mountain, where all the rainwater and meltwater have been concentrated for millions of years to give birth to the Guiers Mort.
A long trail of galleries and shafts is needed to reach this mineral jewel and its pools of crystal-clear water.
You need to be in very good physical condition to complete the 4km route. In fact, this outing is also a sporting challenge: 10 to 12 hours of underground progression.
