Ascension du Mont Aiguille - Marc Vanpé

A mythical and emblematic mountain, Mont Aiguille was the object of the first ascent in the history of mountaineering.
With a guide, this is a one-day climb for anyone in good physical shape and not too afraid of heights...

In summer conditions, usually from early May to late October, I can take groups of up to 4 people without any previous experience.
To get the most out of the trip, it's best to avoid the busy spring and autumn weekends.
You'll also need to allow for about 8 hours of effort.
I'll probably suggest a slightly different ascent (earlier or later than the crowds).

In winter, Mont Aiguille regains its solitude, and the ascent is longer (around 10h in all) and more technical, its difficulty depending very much on snow conditions. In general, I can only take 2 clients with some mountaineering experience (crampons and very good physical condition).
