Le Moulin de Chardeyre
We own a historic flour mill (13th century) that has never stopped producing flour from local grains.
Traditional and organic wheat, rye, and einkorn flour; dry pasta made from durum wheat or einkorn; and walnut oil.
We took over this mill in January 2025, succeeding the previous owners. I was very happy to carry on the milling tradition at this property and to provide high-quality, artisanal products to the community. We continue to offer the same products as before and are actively seeking ways to expand the opportunities offered by the mill. We mill local grains every week to ensure the freshest products available in the region. All our products are made on-site using traditional methods to meet the needs of customers who prioritize healthy, locally sourced food.
We also produce walnut oil in our traditional oil mill. This production takes place every year between January and April. We also offer pressing services to customers who bring their own walnut kernels. Appointments can be made starting in December and throughout the season.
