Le Pot au Noir
Throughout the year, creative companies are in residence at the Le Pot au Noir theater at Domaine de Rivoiranche, presenting their shows. During the evenings, the bar is open and spectators can eat with the artists.
This off-the-beaten-track artistic workshop, housed in the former barn of the Domaine de Rivoiranche, recently became "Scène
Ressource en Isère". Le Pot au Noir is an artistic creation space, born in 1997 with the idea of building a tool at the service of companies, outside the traditional and institutional paths, and with the strong desire to promote artistic culture in rural areas.
La Quincaillerie, an intergenerational theater workshop, also enables local residents to explore the artistic process.
The Le Pot au Noir association's project and activities are organized around four main axes:
- residencies for artists and creative companies.
- presenting shows in partnership with local and departmental cultural players
- training in various artistic practices (theater, music, dance, etc.) for amateurs and professionals alike
- festive and unifying events, with two events every year: in May, the Festival with a strong circus flavour, and in September, the Fête à Rivoiranche, which brings together all the projects worked on during the previous year.
