When Oisans shakes off the last of the winter snow and ice, the markets are like swallows, announcing the arrival of fine weather.
From Allemond to La Grave, via Bourg-d'Oisans and l'Alpe d'Huez, producers come to showcase their local produce.
There's nothing more appealing than strolling along the local stalls to discover the region's flavors and artisans. Following the markets day by day also means taking the time to discover the villages of the Oisans, build up picnic lunches and savour the local produce along the picturesque valleys and roads.
But one market stands head and shoulders above the rest: Bourg-d'Oisans. Locals flock from all over the valleys of Uiss to this market, every Saturday of the year!
