A walkd along the shores of Pierre-Châtel Lake
The lake of Pierre-Châtel is a great place where you can profit of a warm day of summer. Have a walk without any difficulty on large paths all around before a break on the beach of Cordeliers, on the lakeshor. Swimming is forbidden.
Route details
Starting from the Cordeliers car park, this walk runs alongside the lake and then turns off into the surrounding fields. The trail then climbs to reach a viewpoint overlooking the lake and the village of Pierre-Châtel beyond. The loop ends with a cool, wooded path along the "Moulin Canal".
Once you've completed the loop, you can end your day pleasantly thanks to the many amenities available on the beach (restrooms, barbecues, pétanque court, playground).
