Belvedere at Avignonet
Newly refurbished by EDF, this lookout offers a breathtaking view of the Monteynard-Avignonet dam, the turquoise waters of the lake and beyond to the surrounding mountains. The viewpoint provides an insight into the workings of the dam and its environment.
This site is designed for people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired (visually impaired and blind). It is unique in the way it deals with disabilities, offering a mixed audience in an exceptional setting.
Access via Sinard, then follow barrage de Monteynard - belvédère d'Avignonet.
