chalet Les Embrunes, for 5 people (Chamrousse - Grenoble)
Wood and stone mountain chalet, all comforts (classified 3* and 3 keys), totally independent, 2-slope slate roof located in Chamrousse, a ski resort in Isère near Grenoble. Sleeps 5 max. Cot available on request.
Change of scenery and peace and quiet guaranteed. Located in the fir trees, facing south/southwest. Surrounded by grounds where children can play safely nearby. Magnificent sunsets.
Large terrace overlooking the Vercors and Trièves, with garden furniture, parasol and two deckchairs. 1 private parking space next to the châlet in summer.
In winter, you can park on the roadside about 50 m from the chalet. 3 heating systems: closed fireplace with wood supplied (on arrival, everything is ready for a 1st flambé, all you have to do is strike a match! (provided...); electric convector heaters in every room and night-time heating -tempered- by the floor under the ground floor tiles. Free loan of raclette, fondue, pierrade, crêpes and waffle makers on request.
Price agreement (-25%) with a ski store in Chamrousse 1750 where we are located. Possibility of leaving equipment in the store at the bottom of the slopes (except on Saturdays during school vacations).
1 bedroom on 1st floor equipped with a 2-person 140 x 190 bed and a 1-person bed, separated by a bât-flanc. BB bed available on loan. Toilet and shower room, washing machine, wall-mounted hairdryer on 1st floor. WC/sink/towel dryer on ground floor. Kitchen area with hood AND VMC, equipped with 2-burner vitroceramic hob, 1 grill/microwave oven, 1 1/2-size dishwasher. All necessary cookware: pots, pans, casseroles, pressure cooker. Living room in stone and wood, with table, chairs; very comfortable sofa bed (140 x 200, mattress 14 cm thick, folded up). Television/cassette player. Vacuum cleaner. Adjoining wood shed; sledges, skis, etc. can be stored under lock and key.
PETS NOT ALLOWED (for hygiene and/or allergy reasons) 6 min. walk to shopping center, ski slopes, ESF, pharmacy, doctor, tobacconist, cinema, tourist office, post office, etc... 1 min. drive from shopping center. Near Uriage (Thermes, Casino, Golf), 35 km from Grenoble and train station. Bus links to Lyon St Ex, Grenoble-Isere and Geneva airports.
DEPOSIT: 400 euros per check at beginning of stay, not cashed, returned at end of stay after inventory.
