For a great day out, set off to explore the exceptional vineyards in the northern Rhone valley on board a minivan!

Morning: Departing from Vienne or Lyon, head south to the prestigious Côte-Rôtie vineyards. During a walk through the vineyards, you'll discover why this wine is so exceptional. You'll be immediately captivated by the view over the Rhône Valley and the steep slopes of this vineyard. A tasting of 5 or 6 wines, including Saint-Joseph, Condrieu and of course Côte-rôtie, will bring the morning to a close. You'll appreciate the floral aromas of Viognier and the fruity, silky taste of Syrah from their native terroir.

Tain l'Hermitage and the surrounding area
Afternoon: You will then head south to the legendary Hermitage wine region. Grown on the left bank of the Rhône on a very specific terroir in a warm climate, you will discover a wine with aromas of red fruit and flowers. The tour begins on the Hermitage hill, with a magnificent view of the vines and the Rhône. Your guide will tell you the story of this legendary wine. Then continue with a tasting at a local winery of 5 to 6 wines from the Rhône Valley, including Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage.
