Le Grand Tour de l'Isle Crémieu by bike (74km)! Between ViaRhôna and Voie Verte, connect the medieval cities of Quirieu and Crémieu. An epic journey between castles, marshes, Caves of the Balme and archaeological sites. Sporting level.

Live a total immersion in the heritage of Nord-Isère with this circuit of 74 km (difficult level), ideal for cycling athletes for the day or families roaming on two days.

A route with a thousand faces:

Medieval cities and the Green Way: From the Blue Valley, follow the Rhône to the perched city of Quirieu before crossing the secret marshes of L'Isle Crémieu. In Arandon, join the old railway track of the East of Lyon, transformed into a peaceful and secure greenway.

Heritage and History: Admire the castle of Serrières and the fortified house of Montagnieu. In Crémieu, let yourself be charmed by its castle Delphinal, its majestic halls and its fortified gates.

Natural Curiosities and Archaeology:

Stop over at Hières-sur-Amby for its Archaeological Museum.

Explore the mysterious universe of the Caves of the Balme (labyrinths and underground lake).

Over the water: Enjoy a magnificent view of the village of Indirectly and its two castles. Cross the Rhône towards L'Isle de la Serre (Espace Eau Vive) for a refreshing break before heading back to the Vallée Bleue, historic land of quarries.

In 1 day: Plan a lunch break at Trept, ideally located halfway.

In 2 days: Trept is a perfect step for an overnight stay, allowing to divide the effort and enjoy more visits (Caves, Museums, Cities).
