DH of La Morte
This is one of the most beautiful descents around Grenoble!
Starting from L’Alpe du Grand Serre, the trail winds all the way down to Séchilienne in the valley. Make sure to plan for a car shuttle back up (15 km – about 20 minutes by road). This descent is also featured during the Taillefer Festibike event.
Trail access:
From the resort, take the road towards Le Désert. At the Cochettes ski tow, take the 4x4 track that climbs to the left towards Rif du Grand Serre.
Follow this track until you reach an old quarry, then turn right towards Le Sappey.
The downhill trail starts 150 m to the right, just before the track starts to climb again.
