Easy-going walk: Rivièr'Alp
This easy-going walk snakes its way through the Rivièr'Alp site, an eco-tourism area in the Chartreuse valley, offering a multitude of family-friendly recreational activities.
This nature walk takes you along the Guiers vif river and its network of canals, dams and sluices. Almost 2 km to stroll between the two villages.
In summer, you'll enjoy natural, ecological swimming in pools surrounded by water gardens. Many other attractions await you, for young and old alike.
Complementing this comfortable walk is the Promenade Savoyarde de Découverte: "the secret of the hydromachines", with a game guide available from the tourist office. In a playful way, you'll learn about the history and use of these funny hydraulic machines, which refer to the industrialist Constant COLLIAT, former owner of the Echelles silk factory.
