Route n°3 : This versatile itinerary for experienced trail-runners features the region's iconic sites.
Mont Sec and the Madeleine pass - remember to look up to admire the beautiful panorama over the Taillefer massif, the Vercors cliffs and, later the Luitel peatlands. After 12 km and an elevation gain of 1,200 metres, your return descent is via the Prémol forest and the village of Montachaffrey. In the valley, an easy, obstacle-free path takes you across the fields and back to Vizille.
