Hike to Lake Crozet
This challenging hike will take you to Lake Crozet and its spillway dam, offering a magnificent view of the Chartreuse Mountains.
From the Pré Raymond parking lot, take the wide forest trail that climbs toward Lac du Crozet. Follow the yellow trail markers. As you emerge from the forest, you’ll be able to admire the view of the Grésivaudan Valley, the Chartreuse Mountains, the Grande Lance de Domène, and the Grand Colon. The trail winds its way through shrubs and boulders. You’ll walk alongside the penstocks to take in the view of the famous Lac du Crozet.

De Grenoble emprunter l’A41 direction Chambéry, prendre la sortie 25 pour rejoindre Domaine. Après la mairie prendre à gauche pour gagner la place Amable Matussière, de là suvre la D11 direction Revel. Dans le bourg, poursuivre sur la D11 vers Freydière. Rejoindre la D280 puis continuer vers Allevard. Au rousset prendre la D280d à droite et remonter la route jusqu’à Freydière. De là continuer la petite route qui mène au parking des 4 chemins puis remonter la piste sur la gauche jusqu’au parking de Pré Raymond (attention piste carrossable mais peu entretenue).
