La Lune Randonne is a stopover lodge offering bed and breakfast accommodation for hikers and cyclists.
With a capacity of 8 people (two bedrooms and one dormitory), it is located in La Croix de la Pigne, at the foot of Mount Obiou, between the Écrins, Dévoluy, and Trièves regions.

La Lune Randonne, a new stopover guesthouse, opens its doors at the foot of Mount Obiou, in the far south of Isère. It is set in an open landscape, surrounded by mountains, between the Écrins, the Dévoluy, and the Trièves regions.
Located in the commune of Pellafol, in a small village called La Croix de la Pigne, the accommodation is primarily intended for hikers and cyclists, either as a stopover during their journey or as a starting point for the many activities available in the area each day.

The guesthouse is located on the second floor of the owners’ home, in an 18th-century house that has been renovated while preserving and enhancing its original features, such as the natural light from numerous openings, spacious layout, semi-underground structure, and roof orientation. Special care was taken to prioritize energy efficiency (insulation, use of wood and solar energy) and resource management (natural and recycled materials, dry toilets, and a water reserve for the garden), both in the renovation process and in everyday life.

The guesthouse can accommodate up to 8 people, in 2 separate double rooms and a dormitory for 4 people (with 4 single beds). Designed for short stays of one or a few nights (not suitable for long group stays), the guesthouse features a shared living area where guests can prepare and enjoy simple meals, ideal for those who choose not to book the table d’hôtes. In that case, guests must bring their own food, as there are no shops or restaurants in the hamlet. A shared bathroom (with two showers) and two separate toilets are available. Depending on availability, several groups may be hosted at the same time. There is no parking directly at the guesthouse; vehicles must be parked in the public lot near the hamlet’s church, about 100 meters away. Pets are not allowed. A set of house rules is provided to ensure the comfort of all guests and the proper upkeep of the space. Accommodation is offered in bed and breakfast format: bed linen and a towel are provided, and breakfast is included. La Lune Randonne also offers table d’hôtes on reservation (evening meal with a set menu, and the option of a picnic lunch). Meals are prepared using mostly organic and locally sourced products.
