Hike and Snack at the Igloo

Follow the guide and set off on an adventure! Winter creatures and animals are the focus of this snowshoe hike, and then we’ll head to the igloo to warm up with a snack.

The igloo will be a “quinzy”—a cavity dug inside a mound of snow—and will take the shape of an oval dome. For comfort, it will be a spacious, well-appointed space lined with synthetic fur, blankets, and lights to create a cozy atmosphere.

- What should I wear? Dress as if you were going skiing—in your warmest clothes.
- Is it cold inside the igloo? The temperature inside the igloo remains constant between 0° and 4°.
- What if the weather is bad? Only if conditions are dangerous: freezing cold, storms, rain,
- Can the igloo collapse? It’s dome-shaped, and the 30-centimeter-thick walls make it very sturdy.
- Can you suffocate? The igloo has natural air circulation.
