Le Gay unhosted campground
A lovely terraced camping area next to the Salse stream and at the foot of the Emparis plateau. Starting point for family walks or more challenging hikes. Totally natural surroundings.
The bivouac area is located 1km from the exit of Besse, a typical village with the cachet of yesteryear, at the start of the access track to the Emparis plateau, on the edge of the GR54.
In a grandiose setting of greenery and tranquility, it's the perfect place to spend a truly "natural" holiday.
Surrounded by babbling brooks, it offers a wide range of sunny or shady pitches for tents, caravans or motor homes, and is ideally situated for exploring the region and its many mountain pastures.
Free access campsite, find a pitch, the manager will come by in the morning and evening to give you the rules and shower tokens.
