Le Liban Vert

A veritable national custom, mezze may exist in neighboring countries, but it is only in Lebanon that it really comes into its own. Our cuisine accommodates vegetarian, vegan and vegan diets. All our meats are hallal.

The history of Lebanon and its gastronomy dates back to antiquity. The first thing that strikes you about Lebanese cuisine is the multiplicity of appetizers. A true national custom, the mezze may exist in neighboring countries, but it is only in Lebanon that it reaches its full potential.

The Lebanese sometimes spend long hours at table, sampling countless dishes and drinking Arak. Mezzé refers to anything that is a pleasure to eat. It can range from the most modest dishes to the most refined and sumptuous. It can include ten, twenty, forty specialties... presented in small dishes.
