Lake Monteynard is Europe's 2nd windiest lake, renowned for its thermal wind, which rises (almost) every day around noon and sets around 5pm from April to October. This thermal is a light wind (5 to 20 knots maximum) located on the lake and its nearby banks (no or little wind on the shores) - Monteynard is the most famous surfing spot in the Rhône Alpes region: Kitesurfing, foiling, windsurfing as well as stand-up paddling, dinghy sailing and wake boarding are practiced daily by enthusiasts and beginners on this safe stretch of water.

The chalet, built in the 90s and renovated in 2016, comprises 2 bedrooms (1 double bed (140cm) and 2 bunk beds), a bathroom
(shower, wc, washbasin) and a living area comprising a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, gas stove, sinks), a lounge and dining
dining area.
Set on just under 400 m², facing the lake, the Sénépy and with a magical view of L'Obiou, this space has a small shady garden and a lovely terrace
terrace for barbecues and parties.
Two parking spaces are available during your stay.
The only lakeside chalet with such a panoramic view of the Monteynard Gorge and close proximity to the beach and shops.
