Marche Nordique - Bureau des Guides du Mont Aiguille

Try Nordic walking, the health sport par excellence!

Outdoor gymnastic walking on hiking trails (can also be practiced on snowshoes in winter). This dynamic activity uses very light, specially-adapted poles to propel the arms. This sport, whether gentle or invigorating, includes warm-up and stretching movements.
Why not try it yourself! Try a fun pedestrian adventure in a friendly atmosphere...
Gently tones the body:
- Gentle on back, knee and hip joints
- Reduces muscular tension in the neck and shoulders
- Burns more calories than normal walking
- Allows sustained effort with a feeling of ease
- Works all the muscles from the top to the bottom of the body

An activity for everyone:
- Fitness for beginners
- Complete training for athletes with cardio
Sequence of a session :
- Warm-up: 10 to 15 minutes
- A session adapted to the group: 60 to 90 minutes
- Cool-down with a series of stretching exercises 10 to 15 min.
Supervision by Nordic Walking instructor and state-qualified mountain leader.
