Notre-Dame of Cromayen

  • Historic site and monument

The Cromayen Virgin is located at Concharbin in the middle of a field. It was built in 1887 following a miraculous recovery. A mass and a religious parade are held on August 15th every two years, alternately with the Madona of Sermérieu.

Young newly-weds used to lay their wreaths here the day after their wedding, to ask for protection for their household, and it is still the site of many votive offerings.
