Pedestrian path: Chamrousse 1650 - Chamrousse 1600 parking bas [L5]
Departure point: Arboretum at Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin.
Return by free shuttle bus in winter season, or by the same route in summer and off-season.
A relaxing walk across the woods, where you will contemplate the Grenoble valley, discover a mixed forest (spruce trees, fir trees, goat willows, green alders, sorbs, maples and birches). You might see a roe deer eating on the edge of the path, or follow the tracks left by our forest hosts.
Two variations are possible:
• Chamrousse 1650 <-> Chamrousse 1750. Departure from Arboretum - Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin. 2 km, 40 minutes.
• Chamrousse 1750 <-> low car park (L1). Departure from Town Hall of Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger. 2.9 km, 1h10.

Recommended parking: Parking Henry Duhamel (P7), avenue Henry Duhamel.
Public transport - Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin stop:
- regular bus service all year round: N93 (to/from Grenoble), "Chamrousse 1650" stop [merger of former T87, Transaltitude, Destination nature Skibus / Estibus 707].
Good to know - another stop less than 500m away (Place de Belledonne, near the Tourist Office):
