« Rose Girl » de Shepard Fairey

  • Historic site and monument

The giant "Rose Girl" mural was created by American artist Shepard Fairey, better known as Obey, for the 5th edition of the Street Art Festival in 2019. It symbolizes a message of peace and hope.

Here, the Californian artist uses his signature clean style and one of his favorite color palettes, black and red. The mural features the face of a woman-icon, which seems almost devoid of relief.
The whole is enhanced by recurring red rose motifs, and a lotus flower adds a pleasing flourish.
