Rue et Porte de Bonne
At this location was built around 1670 the Bonne Gate, main entrance to the south side of the city. Napoleon entered Grenoble through this gate in the evening of March 7th, 1815, in the beginings of the Hundred Days.
A commemorative stone plaque has been placed at the end of the street, near the site of the Porte de Bonne, the city gate through which Napoleon entered on the evening of March 7, 1815.
