Salle Olivier Messiaen

The Salle Olivier Messiaen is a 300-seat auditorium dedicated to classical music. It is the former chapel of the convent founded in the 17th century by the Minimes order. The building houses the offices of the Musiciens du Louvre Grenoble.

The Salle Messiaen is the venue for the Orchestra's small-formation rehearsals and chamber music concerts, as well as early-learning and awareness-raising activities (school concerts, lectures, master-classes for amateurs and professionals, etc.). Other musical associations in Grenoble also perform at Olivier Messiaen, notably university orchestras and amateur choirs.
