Sortie Spéléo: avec la mythique traversée Glaz-Annette, et la vertigineuse P40;

Caving trip: with the legendary Glaz-Annette crossing and the amazing P40

Traverse Glaz-Annette
Imagine crossing the entire width of the mountain, from west to east! That’s what the Glaz-Annette traverse is all about. Pitches, meanders and large galleries make up the 2.3km of a varied route steeped in history. The end of the crossing itself is a moment of intense emotion: immersed in the mountain for around 7 hours, you’ll have earned that breathtaking view of Grenoble and the valley, at an altitude of 1700 metres. A sporting challenge for some, an extraordinary adventure for others, one thing is certain: once you’ve made the crossing, you’ll never look at the Dent in the same way again.

Traverse P40-Glaz
Open to the sky on the Dent summit, the entrance shaft to this traverse (known as the P40) offers an unusual route through the rock. The aim? To descend the P40 at an altitude of 1,935 metres and follow the route to the Trou du Glaz, around 300 metres below.
There are 13 shafts interspersed with meanders to make this connection, which was made for the first time in 1946.
Do you enjoy abseiling? Does crossing the mountain appeal to you? Are you looking for a thrilling outing?
Then the P40-Glaz traverse, with its 200 metres of vertical drop, is for you.
