Route details
- From the church square, turn right towards ‘Pont de Brangues’. Continue along Rue du Bourg, which runs through the village. After passing the oven, the cross and the fountain, turn left onto Rue du Pavé as you come out of the wide bend. You will reach the ‘Pont de Brangues’ crossroads (209 m).
- Turn left onto the wide track 2 and follow the River Save. Join the road and continue straight on for 500 metres.
- Leave the road and take the path along the embankment on the left bank of the Rhône. Further on, once you’re back on the road, cross the D60 (which leads to the Groslée bridge). Join the cycle path (ViaRhôna) and follow it to the hamlet of Tours.
- At the junction, leave the ViaRhôna and turn left. After a few metres, turn right onto the Route du Prieuré, then onto the Impasse de la Garenne. Before you reach the farm, take the grassy path on the left.
- At the end of the grassy track, turn right and then left. Once you rejoin the ViaRhôna at the ‘La Garenne’ junction (212 m), head towards the castle. Walk round the castle grounds on the right. Once you’re back on the road, follow it to the left to return to the starting car park.
