Summer hike: Le Lac Besson
Take 850 meters of altitude in a few minutes thanks to the cable car and go to discover Alpette, a plateau of Alpage decorated with four successive lakes perched at 2100 m. A stroll away from urban everyday life, silent and rich in color.
One way or the other, this trail will take you from lake to lake from one end to the other of this natural balcony perched between the Eau d'Olle valley and the Petites Rousses plateau.
TO SEE ON THE COURSE: You appreciate the clear view of the plateau. The freshness of the lakes and the clean air of the West exposed place through the old pastures uissans. Observe the vegetation of the middle mountain and listen to the cry of raptors.
TO KNOW: The descent is also done by gondola. The gondola ride is not recommended for children under 3 years and persons prone to ear infections. Access to the lakes is also from Alpe d'Huez without lift.
Route details
Departure from the Vaujany cable car station. Take the Alpette ski lift (ticket for sale in cash on site). The marked path is visible from the time of the cable car.
