A hike through the high meadows that will offer you a magnificent panorama from Vercors to the Ecrins.

This loop, accessible to all, crosses the gentle landscapes of mountain pastures to reach a ridge line adorned with Scots pines, revealing a 360° panorama at La Croix de la Roche. The views are breathtaking over the Valbonnais valley, the Salette mountains, the Dévoluy chain, the Obiou and the Matheysin plateau.

Route details

From the car park of the church in Saint Michel en Beaumont take the direction of Col de Pierre Grosse via La Ceintura, Le Cercle and La Chèvre on a small road.

From this crossroads, follow Clos Ternaud, La Croix de La Roche, Les Grands Clos and Combe des Ailes

From there join Le Soulier and return to Saint Michel en Beaumont via La Versanne and the Ceinture. On the way back, discover the small cabin recently renovated.
