Tour de Belleroche
Forest atmosphere on hot days to keep you cool! This loop goes deep into the Lalley forest, at the foot of the Aup mountain, alternating between small paths and comfortable tracks.
A mystical forest atmosphere in the depths of this wild and little-visited Lalley forest! The track sections can sometimes be a little monotonous, but the trail sections are very pleasant.
Route details
Start: In the village of Lalley, at the entrance to the Belle Roche campsite, “Combe Morrées” post. A few parking spaces are available 200m before the campsite entrance, or in the village center.
1) From “Combe Morrées”, head towards “Pont de Ruelle”, following the track to the left of the campsite entrance.
2) At “Pont de Ruelle”, turn left to reach “Les Rioux” then “Les Rioux2”.
3) Leave the track and take the path on the right through the boxwoods, towards “Ploffay” then “Grépoux”. The path joins the track and climbs steadily up to the “Grépoux” post.
4) Continue up the track towards “Clos de la Selle”.
5) Turn right to “Boveires”, still on the track.
Tour de Belleroche
6) At the “Boveires” post, continue on the right-hand track towards “Justina”. This long track turns into a pretty path, and the descent begins with pleasant zigzags.
7) At “Justina”, turn right towards ‘Loureires’, then left towards “Le Col”. Be careful, as the path is a little narrow in places, especially just after the “Loureires” post.
8) At the “Le Col” post, descend to the ‘Châtelet’ post, then turn right towards “Les Murailles”.
9) Follow the large track downhill towards “Pont de Ruelle”, then turn left towards “Combe Morrées” to rejoin your starting point.
