Listed as a Historic Monument since 1991, the château has belonged to the same family since 1712.
A visit to the park takes in three enchanting areas:
An irregular garden (‘à l'anglaise’) dating from 1843, with rare species and a romantic atmosphere.
A carefully restored historic kitchen garden, where cut flowers and fruit trees tell the story of the traditions of yesteryear.
A regular garden, a masterpiece of the 18th century, with elegant terraces, majestic perspectives and refined parterres.
From the shady paths to the stone benches, everything has been painstakingly recreated using family archives and the skills of expert landscape gardeners.
The château and its interiors are not open to the public, but you're sure to fall under the spell of this exceptional setting less than an hour from Lyon, on the Balcons du Dauphiné.
