Lac des Fétoules by le Refuge de la Lavey
Starting from the Refuge de la Lavey, carry on up the Vallon de la Muande and then take the path up towards the Tete des Fétoules.
Want to get away from it all in the heart of the majestic mountains? Set out on a memorable hiking trail starting at the Lavey Mountain Hut in the town of Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans.
After the Lavey mountain hut, cross the Muande torrent and turn left toward Lac des Fétoules. A steep, winding ascent awaits you through grassy slopes and scree. This trail, classified as “red” (difficult), requires good physical condition and considerable stamina.
It’s a truly immersive experience: you’ll be hiking in the high mountains, through a wild and unspoiled landscape. Be aware, however, that you may encounter herds of livestock and guard dogs during your journey.
