Isère’s mountains, lakes and forests offer plenty for outdoor enthusiasts. With an emphasis on sustainable exploration, the region offers environmentally friendly itineraries ideal for leisurely exploration on foot, bike or horseback. With over 9,000 km of marked PDIPR* trails and 330 km of greenways and cycle routes, there’s something for every ability level.
The Grésivaudan has a diversity of landscapes, from the Chartreuse and Belledonne mountains to the rugged peaks of the Oisans and the gentle Vercors plateau, providing excellent reasons to explore this region. Adding to its allure, nearly half of the Grésivaudan remains untouched wilderness, preserving its natural beauty under the watchful eye of Mother Nature
